Abstract: This research has attempted to investigate whether there were proper financial controls at Bankuna High School of the Ritavi Circuit in the Tzaneen Area of the Limpopo Province of the Republic of South Africa. The researcher has, after an extensive evaluation of data arrived at some conclusions and he had made a few recommendations. The researcher is of the belief that the results of this research can be applied in most former historically disadvantaged African schools. Also this study can help Provincial Departments of Education in their future training on Financial Management for poor African schools.

Abstract: This research report is based on an integrated approach to strategy implementation in the Limpopo Department of Roads and Transport.&#xD;
The purpose of this research was to investigate which factors are key in the implementation of strategies and how can they be integrated to achieve the stated goals of the Limpopo Department of Roads and Transport.&#xD;
This report included both qualitative and quantitative research methods.&#xD;
The major finding of the study was that there are four key drivers of strategy implementation. These key drivers are management and leadership, organizational culture, organizational structure and organizational processes/systems. The integration of these key drivers is essential for the implementation of strategy, leading to improved service delivery to various stakeholders.&#xD;
The report concludes that in order to approach strategy implementation in an integrated manner, the following should take place: (1) managers who are responsible for strategy implementation should also be involved in strategy formulation processes; (2) organizational culture should be changed to create a conducive environment for the managers to be motivated; (3) leadership and management should guide the vision and mission; (4) organizational processes/systems should be coordinated and integrated for efficiency and effectiveness

Abstract: The proposed study intends to establish how procedural the reward system is being implemented in the Limpopo Department of Health and Social Development and whether claims of bias are founded.&#xD;
&#xD;
The study is intended to determine the system’s influence on the organization’s ability to track poor performance and manage it. Also providing a refreshed view of the current pitfalls in the implementation of the program therefore providing indications of remedial action to recover the purpose of the PMDS.&#xD;
&#xD;
To assess the impact of Performance Management practices and explore best implementable practices which lead to effective performance management system and best service delivery by the Limpopo Department of Health and Social Development. Qualitative research approach using interview schedule for HR and line managers was utilised. The findings are that the system can not be linked to employee output but an obvious benefit is employee rewards.

Abstract: The functioning of the school within the new education dispensation has brought about radical changes in the management of schools where the formation of school management teams (SMTs) became a necessity in order to assist principals in the day to day management of schools so that effective, proper management can be applied. The introduction of the New Management System compelled the heads of institutions and all other relevant stakeholders to undergo comprehensive management training in order to contribute towards the management of schools. However, very little has been done to evaluate the perceptions of people who have to implement the new management system as to whether it is working or not.&#xD;
This study was aimed at finding out the perceptions of the School Management Teams (SMTs) and School Principals towards the effectiveness of the new management system within the Malamulele West Circuit of the Limpopo Province. The study also intended to explore the gap existing between schools management policy and the way it is understood and implemented by the School Management Teams in schools.&#xD;
The study utilized a questionnaire as an instrument of collecting data. Interviews were arranged with the respondents and they were interviewed following the standardized questionnaire.&#xD;
The findings show that School Management Teams did not feel effective in managing schools using the new management system. The SMTs did not have confidence in implementing the strategic management plans and practicing management effectively. The School Management Teams recommended amongst others, that they be sent for training. They envisaged that training programmes would assist School Management Teams in developing the competencies they need to perform their best in their current jobs. The study has also revealed that both School Management Teams and School \principals feel that they are not properly trained in management skills.
